Norges kirker i det 16de og 17de aarhundrede
A survey of Norwegian church furnishings from the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries by art historian Harry Fett, published in Kristiania in 1911 by the Norsk Folkemuseum for antiquarians and church historians. The plates are halftone photographs of carved and painted altarpieces, pulpits and epitaphs, showing tiered architectural frames, columned arcades, scrolled side wings and inscription panels that can be mined for cartouche outlines, symmetrical panel layouts and provincial Renaissance ornament.
