A Spanish account of the funeral rites held in Palermo in 1689 for Marie Louise of Orléans, queen consort of Spain, written by Francisco de Montalbo with plates designed by Antonio Grano and printed by Tommaso Romolo for the Sicilian viceregal court. Etched emblem plates set small allegorical scenes inside heavy acanthus-and-shell cartouches, alongside woodcut leaf headpieces; useful for frame outlines, scroll terminals and symmetrical ornament strips.
