Francisco Monsalvatje y Fossas's Noticias historicas, a local antiquarian survey of Catalan castles and monasteries printed by J. Bonet in Olot in 1889 for regional historians and clergy. The images here are the binding's marbled endpapers: cream ground broken by veined blue clots and scattered red flecks, usable as tileable backgrounds, cover papers, or textured fills.
