A multi-volume history of the churches of Florence quarter by quarter, written by the priest Giuseppe Richa with plates after Giuseppe Zocchi, printed in Florence by P.G. Viviani in 1754 for local clergy and antiquarians. The pictures here are coarse letterpress woodcuts: initial letters inhabited by winged putti against hatched hills and towns, and vine-and-acanthus tailpieces with paired infants holding swags.
