Nouveau manuel complet de l'observateur au microscope
A French handbook on microscope use, written by the zoologist Félix Dujardin and published by Roret in Paris in 1843 for naturalists and amateur microscopists. The plates are fine outline engravings that group dozens of numbered specimens per sheet — seeds, spores, pollen grains, plant fibres, cell walls and stalked capsules — usable as pale line motifs, labelled grids or repeatable cellular patterns.
