Nouvelle mythologie illustrée
A French popular handbook of Greek and Roman mythology written by the poet Jean Richepin and published in Paris by the Librairie de France in 1920 for general readers. Its plates mix line drawings copied from Greek vase paintings with halftone photographs of sculpted reliefs, giving clean outline figures of gods, warriors, winged Victories, draped women and altar scenes that can be cut out and used as silhouettes or spot drawings.
