Numismata graeca; Greek coin-types, classified for immediate identification
A six-part numismatic reference compiled by Leo Anson and published by himself in London from 1910, arranging Greek coin types by subject so collectors and dealers could identify pieces quickly. The plates are halftone photographs of bronze and silver coins, obverse and reverse side by side with catalogue numbers and metal marks, showing profile heads, helmets, tripods, palm trees, standing deities and Greek lettering worn into pitted, circular fields.
