Nuova raccolta d'autori, che trattano del moto dell'acque
A multi-volume Italian collection of treatises on the motion of water, printed at Parma by F. Carmignani in 1766 for engineers and mathematicians working on rivers, canals and hydraulics. The copperplates crowd numbered geometric diagrams onto single sheets: lettered triangles, arcs and circles, weirs and sluices, plumb lines, and hatched bands of water and riverbed, useful as line-work, technical lettering and diagram layout.
