Carmignani in 1766 for hydraulic engineers, mathematicians and officials concerned with river and canal works. The plates are copperplate survey maps drawn in fine hairlines u2014 the Po and its tributaries branching across the Duchy of Parma, dotted town symbols, engraved place names and a rococo scrollwork title cartouche u2014 useful for river networks, map lettering and ornamental panel frames.
