Hortus Romanus plantaru
Hortus Romanus is an eight-volume catalogue of the plants grown in Rome's papal botanical garden, engraved under Giorgio Bonelli and Niccolò Martelli and issued in Rome by Bouchard et Gravier from 1772 for physicians, apothecaries and collectors. Each hand-coloured plate sets one whole plant, roots included, inside a blue-washed ruled border with Latin and Italian names beneath.
