Plate volumes from Ippolito Rosellini's record of the Franco-Tuscan expedition, published in Pisa from 1832, drawn by Carlo Lasinio, Giuseppe Angelelli and others for scholars of Egyptian and Nubian antiquity. The plates are outline engravings of tomb and temple wall scenes, some hand-coloured in flat ochre, red and blue: registered figure processions, hieroglyphic columns, offering tables, gods and pharaohs.
