Nouveau Duhamel
A revised edition of Duhamel du Monceau's French treatise on trees and shrubs, issued in Paris from 1801 with stipple-engraved colour plates after Pierre Joseph Redouté, addressed to botanists, foresters and nursery growers. Each plate isolates one flowering or fruiting branch on white, with small dissections of flowers, seeds and stones ranged below and Latin and French names lettered at the foot.
