Les liliacées
Les liliacées is Pierre Joseph Redouté's folio botanical monograph on lilies and related bulbous plants, issued in Paris from 1805 by the author with printing by Didot Jeune, for wealthy subscribers and naturalists. The stipple-engraved plates place single irises, gladioli and their bulbs against blank paper, with small detached flower dissections and engraved Latin and French captions useful for isolated silhouettes.
