A Russian-language catalogue of Prince Ukhtomsky's collection of Tibetan and Mongolian Buddhist cult objects, compiled by the German Indologist Albert Grünwedel and printed by the Imperial Academy of Sciences press in St. Petersburg in 1905 for scholars of Lamaism and Asian art. The plates are outline line drawings of seated and standing deities, lamas and bodhisattvas with haloes, lotus thrones, cloud scrolls and draped robes, each labelled in Tibetan script with a transliterated caption, offering clean contour figures, throne and mandorla shapes, and script blocks for reuse.
