Oeuvres ophthalmologiques de Thomas Young
A French edition of Thomas Young's ophthalmological papers, edited and translated by Marius Tscherning and published in Copenhagen in 1894 for physicians and students of optics. The plates are line diagrams of lens fibres, crystalline structure and eye anatomy, several printed white on solid black: radiating and woven hatching, concentric ovals, segmented discs useful as abstract pattern and moiré motifs.
