A trade directory of textile mills in the United States and Canada, compiled yearly by the Textile World Journal and issued in 1913 by Boston and New York publishers for mill owners, buyers, and machinery agents. The plates are halftone and wood-engraved photographs of factory machines seen side-on against blank grounds, showing spinning frames, carding and winding machines, belt-driven lathes and cast-iron frames with maker's names cast into the wheels; useful for machine silhouettes, gear and pulley detail, and industrial catalogue layouts.
