An annual trade directory of textile mills in the United States and Canada, compiled by Textile World Journal and issued in Boston and New York in 1922 for mill owners, buyers and machinery suppliers. The plates are advertisement halftones and line engravings of spinning frames, cards, looms and beaming machines, shown in three-quarter view on blank grounds, giving designers coarse-screen industrial machine portraits, belt-and-pulley drive details and cast-iron frame silhouettes.
