A serial volume of the Ohio State Archaeological and Historical Society, issued from Columbus beginning in 1887 for members and antiquarian researchers reporting on mound and village sites. Coarse halftone plates lay stone axes, pendants, slate ornaments, pipes and shell discs flat against plain grounds, giving designers grainy silhouette shapes and simple grouped-object arrangements.
