Ohio archæological and historical publications
A volume of the Ohio State Archaeological and Historical Society's serial publications, issued at Columbus from 1887 for members and local historians documenting the state's antiquities and settlement history. The plates are line and wash views of frontier Ohio — stockaded forts, water mills, log houses and a meeting house with a covered wagon — printed on tinted stock alongside labelled ground plans, useful for period architecture, landscape vignettes and hand-lettered keys.
