Ohio archæological and historical publications
A serial of scholarly papers issued from 1887 by the Ohio State Archaeological and Historical Society in Columbus, printed for members and libraries. The plates are line-drawn maps: earthwork surveys with hachured embankments and contour hatching, state outlines tracing rivers, land-company purchase boundaries, and dated fort and battle sites, useful as sparse cartographic linework and hand-lettered place labels.
