Ohio archæological and historical publications
A serial volume of the Ohio State Archaeological and Historical Society, issued from Columbus by F. J. Heer beginning in 1887 for members, local historians, and antiquarians. The 73 plates are coarse halftones: oval bust portraits of society officers and pioneers in dark coats, and grainy field views of earthworks, mounds, and inscribed stone surfaces, useful as heavily screened grayscale texture and period portrait vignettes.
