Ohio archæological and historical quarterly
Bound run of the Ohio State Archaeological and Historical Society's scholarly quarterly, issued in Columbus from 1887 for members and antiquarians documenting mound and village sites across Ohio. Halftone field photographs show trench walls, stone-lined graves, skeletal remains in situ and flaked blades against grainy earth, giving designers coarse-grained gray textures, silhouetted artifact shapes and stark excavation geometry.
