A scholarly journal of Ohio's state archaeological and historical society, issued from Columbus by A. H. Smythe beginning in 1887 for antiquarians, local historians, and members of the society. Plates run to halftone photographs of earthworks, mound sites, and wooded field edges alongside pen drawings of shoreline burial groups, offering grainy grey landscape textures, silhouetted tree lines, and survey-style site views.
