A scholarly journal issued from 1887 by the Ohio State Archaeological and Historical Society in Columbus, carrying local history and archaeology papers for members and antiquarians. Halftone photographs of wooded valleys, earthworks, farmsteads and riverside mills print coarse and grey, alongside hand-drawn survey maps with script labels, lot grids and creek lines useful as line-art overlays.
