A scholarly journal of Ohio history and archaeology, issued from 1887 by the Ohio State Archaeological and Historical Society in Columbus for members and local historians. Coarse halftone photographs show excavated stone burial slabs, cleared mound sites, river valleys in haze, and clapboard farmhouses behind picket fences, useful as heavy-grain field documentation and as texture for landscape backgrounds.
