A scholarly journal of Ohio state archaeology and local history, issued from 1887 in Columbus by A.H. Smythe for the Ohio State Archaeological and Historical Society and its members. Illustrations are pen-line battlefield and campsite maps with hand-lettered place names, compass roses, and river courses, plus sketched stone monuments; useful for map lettering, wind-rose motifs, and hatched terrain.
