Ohio archæological and historical quarterly
A scholarly journal of the Ohio State Archaeological and Historical Society, published from 1887 in Columbus for members, antiquarians and local historians. Halftone plates record excavation surfaces, mound cross-sections and recovered objects — corroded copper plates, charred fragments, stone hollows — printed coarsely so the screen dot and heavy black masses read as texture; useful for grain, eroded shapes and field-photograph framing with scale markers.
