Ohio archæological and historical quarterly
A scholarly quarterly issued by the Ohio State Archaeological and Historical Society in Columbus from 1887, written for members, local antiquarians and readers tracing the state's mounds, frontier sites and settler families. The plates are coarse-screened halftone photographs of grass-covered earthworks, shaded woodland roads and stone-lined graves alongside small bust portraits, useful for grainy monochrome textures, hazy pale skies and vignetted archival photo framing.
