Ohio archæological and historical quarterly
A scholarly quarterly issued by the Ohio State Archaeological and Historical Society in Columbus from 1887 onward, carrying excavation reports and regional history for members, antiquarians, and state libraries. The plates are coarse-screened halftones of chipped and pitted stone artifacts isolated on pale paper, plus field photographs of stone-slab graves and mound cuts, useful as gritty grayscale textures, silhouetted object shapes, and period archaeological documentation.
