A 1913 social survey of southeastern Ohio counties, compiled by the Department of Church and Country Life of the Presbyterian Board of Home Missions in New York for church planners and rural reformers. The plates are plain line maps of county and township grids, dotted with small squares, crosses and coded labels marking churches and joined by thin lines tracing pastoral circuits — usable as sparse cartographic diagrams and symbol sets.
