Old Cornish crosses
An antiquarian survey of Cornwall's standing crosses, compiled by Arthur G. Langdon with J. Romilly Allen and published at Truro in 1896 for archaeologists and local historians. Pen drawings record each granite shaft and wheel-head from several sides, with lichen stippled in fine hatching, incised crucifix figures, interlace panels and socket stones set in tufts of grass.
