Old New England houses
A photographic survey of colonial-era dwellings compiled by Albert G. Robinson and issued by Scribner's in New York in 1920 for antiquarians, restorers, and architects. The plates are grey halftone views of clapboard, shingle, and stone farmhouses shot from lawns and roadsides among bare trees, offering gambrel and gable rooflines, small-paned window grids, doorway surrounds, and chimney silhouettes.
