One hundred years of Presbyterianism in the Ohio Valley
A centennial history of the Cincinnati Presbytery, published by the Presbytery itself in 1890 for congregations and clergy in the Ohio Valley. The plates are wood-engraved bust portraits of bearded ministers in dark coats and bow ties, signed by engravers, with faces built from dense crosshatching against blank or lightly hatched grounds.
