One thousand secrets of rich and wise men revealed
A cheap American compendium of recipes, money-making formulas, memory tricks and coin-collecting lore, compiled by C. A. Bogardus and published without imprint in 1898 for general readers buying practical self-help manuals. The plates are small relief cuts of United States coins, showing Liberty heads in profile with dated rims, encircling stars, beaded borders and wreathed reverses, usable as roundel devices, seals, medallion motifs and dated emblems.
