The origin and development of the fundamental theorem of projective geometry
A 1915 master's thesis by Emery C. Farver at the University of Illinois, tracing the history of the fundamental theorem of projective geometry for mathematicians and examiners. Its plates are hand-drawn line diagrams in fine black ink on cream paper: pencil-thin rays converging on labelled points, nested triangles, dotted construction lines and small hatched wedges, usable as abstract linear texture.
