Ornamenti di fabriche antiche et moderne dell'alma città di Roma : con le sue dichiarationi fatte da Bartolommeo Rossi fiorentino
A 1600 Roman print album of the city's ancient and modern monuments, etched by Giovanni Maggi with captions by the Florentine Bartolomeo Rossi and sold by Andrea della Vaccaria, aimed at pilgrims, antiquarians and visitors buying views of Rome. Each plate sets an obelisk, column or fountain in a thinly hatched square with small walking figures, carts and facades behind, plus engraved title banners and blocks of italic Italian text useful for line-drawn cityscapes, monument silhouettes and period lettering.
