Ornamentik des Mittelalters
A serial pattern book of medieval ornament issued in parts by the Nuremberg architect and restorer Carl Alexander von Heideloff, published by C. Geiger from 1838 for architects, carvers and craftsmen working in the Gothic revival. Engraved plates record tracery panels, foliate friezes, capitals, crockets and finials in measured elevation and section, giving clean line stock for borders, repeat patterns and frame devices.
