Ornaments of the 15th and 16th centuries
A. W. N. Pugin's plate book of medieval decorative detail, drawn and engraved for architects, metalworkers and cabinetmakers and issued by Ackermann & Co. in London in 1835. Fine outline engravings record lock plates, hinges, oriel windows, doorways and carved panels in elevation and section, with measured detail and occasional Gothic lettering usable as hardware motifs or border ornament.
