Ornemens d'orfevrerie propres pour flanquer et amaller : nouveau livre d'ornemens d'orfevrerie
A portfolio of engraved goldsmiths' ornament patterns issued by Bernard Quaritch in London in 1888, reprinting plates attributed to Jacques Androuet du Cerceau for metalworkers, chasers and engravers. The plates show symmetrical acanthus scrollwork, flowering rinceaux, cartouche panels and vertical border strips in fine hatched line, usable as frames, corner fillers, endpapers and repeating ornamental bands.
