Osztyák himzések = Ostjakische Stickereien
A 1921 Budapest portfolio from the Hungarian National Museum recording Ostyak (Khanty) embroidery from western Siberia, issued in Hungarian and German for ethnographers and pattern collectors. The plates are colour lithographs of counted cross-stitch and running-stitch bands in red, blue, yellow and black on cream linen, supplying pixel-grid borders, hooked diamonds, meanders and repeating motifs for tiling.
