The images indexed here are scans of the Library of Congress patterned endpaper: tan line-drawn seal roundels with a winged eagle and shield, ringed by circular lettering and set in a diagonal lattice on cream stock, useful as a repeating motif, a border strip, or a ready-made tiled ground.
