Painting and decorating
A trade manual on house painting and interior decoration by Walter Pearce, published in London by C. Griffin in 1913 for apprentices and working decorators. The plates are brush-and-pen ornament in flat black on cream: running scroll borders, symmetrical palmette headpieces, stencil repeats and diapered wall panels, drawn as patterns to be copied at scale and usable as rules, tailpieces and tiling units.
