Panoptikuma : irók és hirlapirók karrikaturái
Panoptikum (Békéscsaba: Tevan, 1913) collects Henrik Major's pen caricatures of Hungarian writers and journalists, with text by Dezső Kosztolányi, for a Hungarian literary readership. Each portrait is a head or bust built from a few unbroken contour lines, hatched shadows and scribbled brows on tinted paper, offering designers a vocabulary of minimal line portraiture and signature-style marks.
