Paris in London : 1902, Earl's Court : official guide and catalogue : director general Imre Kiralfy

1902 · London : Gale & Polden · 87 pictures

Official guide and catalogue to "Paris in London," Imre Kiralfy's 1902 exhibition at Earl's Court, printed in London by Gale & Polden for visiting ticket-holders. The ninety plates are coarse-screen halftones of French paintings and exhibition views, many printed sideways: crowded ballroom and court interiors, soldiers in uniform, garden pavilions with trellis fencing, and grouped figures in eighteenth-century costume, usable as dot-textured grey period scenes.
