Patrons de broderie et de lingerie du XVIe siècle
A facsimile of sixteenth-century embroidery and lacework pattern sheets, edited by Hippolyte Cocheris from Bibliothèque Mazarine holdings and published in Paris in 1872 for needleworkers, collectors and pattern historians. The plates are black-and-white woodcut panels: interlaced strapwork, hatched grounds, scrolling vine, birds and masks, each page pairing a wide field with a narrow border strip for repeatable ornament.
