Das Weltall : illustrierte Zeitschrift für Astronomie und verwandte Gebiete, Okt. 1908-Sept. 1909, Jg. 9
Volume 9 (October 1908–September 1909) of Das Weltall, a popular German astronomy magazine edited by Friedrich Simon Archenhold and published by the Treptow Observatory in Berlin for amateur observers and science readers. The halftone plates here show the observatory's Great Refractor as a long riveted tube on an open steel mount, photographed against bare trees, fence posts, scaffolding and construction rubble.
