The peerage of Ireland : or, A genealogical history of the present nobility of that kingdom
A seven-volume genealogical history of the Irish nobility compiled by John Lodge and revised by Mervyn Archdall, printed in Dublin by J. Moore in 1789 for peers, antiquaries and genealogists. The plates are line-engraved achievements of arms: hatched shields under coronets, held by lions, griffins, eagles, leopards and stags, with Latin and French mottoes on scrolled ribbons.
