A catalogue of Artaud de Montor's collection of early Italian panel paintings, engraved and issued in Paris by Challamel in 1843 for collectors and students of medieval art. Plates reproduce haloed saints, Madonnas, crucifixions and Cimabue-style groups in fine tonal line engraving, often paired two to a page with quatrefoil frames, patterned grounds and engraved captions.
