The Phenomena and Diosemeia of Aratus
An English verse translation of Aratus's Greek astronomical poem, made by John Lamb and printed by J. W. Parker in London in 1848 for classical and scientific readers. Line engravings reproduce Greek coins with laurelled profiles and a lyre, a curved harpe blade, and a zodiac circle ruled into triangles — usable as emblems, medallion frames and diagram schemes.
