The Phil May album
A collection of Phil May's pen-and-ink caricatures and comic drawings, gathered by Augustus M. Moore and issued by Methuen in London in 1900 for readers of English humour magazines. Figures are built from a few confident contour lines with hatched shading and blank ground, useful for economical line work, period costume study, and paired-figure comic staging.
